As Wenta’s Brand and Online Marketing Executive, you’ll be taking your full-mix digital marketing skills and brand communications expertise to the next level. You’ll be helping to engage with budding entrepreneurs and established business owners, delivering Wenta’s forthcoming, digital growth strategy.

We own and operate business centres and flexible workspace across Hertfordshire and North London as well as provide award-winning business support from one-to-one advice to skills training. Wenta helps people with free, unlimited, personalised and tailored business support, particularly for those who face barriers. We make it easier, simpler and greener to start and run a business with our accessible, practical advice and affordable workspace. Our next step is to grow our reach even further, helping more people to start and run a business through our online presence, services and products.

Three top things about the role:

1. As Wenta’s Brand and Online Marketing Executive, you’ll be working closely with the Senior Online Manager, SMT and Wenta’s internal Brand Ambassadors to design and deliver a broad range of digital campaigns to drive conversions into Wenta’s services and products. As an independent, small business ourselves that thrives on innovation, you’ll have the freedom and pleasure to turn your creative ideas into tangible campaigns and see them right through to the conversion stage, helping people to turn their business ideas into a reality too!

2. As part of our digital transformation and growth strategy, we’ll shortly be launching a series of strategic projects which focus on improving Wenta’s website and online experience. You’ll have opportunities to take your technical know-how, copywriting and project management skills to the next level whilst growing your knowledge and experience across the business.

What will the role be like Day-to-Day?

You’ll be focusing on continuous improvements in the way we reach more people online, deliver our service impact and grow our income to help even more people to start and run their own business.

A typical day will involve writing, updating, curating and managing content across our websites, creating regular email and social media campaigns to drive service and product conversions, whilst ensuring all assets are on-brand. You’ll be continuously improving our website online experience and online visibility through SEO improvements and regular audits to drive awareness, focusing on our key KPIs.

What key skills are needed?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, practical and knowledgeable digital marketing professional that has had experience in producing and managing digital content for websites, email campaigns and social media. From producing the Wenta annual review and coordinating photography photoshoots to writing first-class client stories for PR and media, we’re looking for a ‘can-doer’ digital marketing professional that knows exactly what it takes to create brand ‘excellence’.

You’ll be an excellent writer, have an excellent eye for detail and a love for communications.

You will have a solid understanding of the full digital marketing mix and knowledge of tracking and measuring digital engagement and conversions.

Travel

This role may require some travel between our sites in Hertfordshire and North London, therefore a driving licence and transport are preferable however not essential. Wenta has committed to the UK SME Climate Hub commitment and provides staff that purchase a battery powered car with an additional annual payment supplement of £1000*, see our company policy for more details.
