The South East Midlands Start-up Programme provides you with access to 12 hours of free business support to help you start your business, survive and thrive. This can be in the form of workshops and networking, one-to-one business advice in person and online, incubation workspace usage, access to grants and online webinars.
The programme is funded by the European Regional Development Fund. This package of support available to you is being delivered by Wenta, The University of Northampton and The University of Bedfordshire.
You don't have to be registered with HMRC or Companies House already to get support on this programme, we can help guide you through the process of starting your own business. We can help you register your business and be there at each step of the way.
Once you have signed up to the programme, you'll receive up to 12 hours of free support to help you kick-start your new business opportunity.
- Workshops and networking: Attend our interactive workshops, focused on some of the key elements needed to help support and grow any new business. Choose from sessions on: being your own boss; social media for business; marketing; websites; SEO; and financing and bookkeeping.
- One-to-one business advice:
Be guided every step of the way with expert advice from a business advisor in face-to-face meetings or even online! They can help you with anything from writing your business plan to raising finances.
- Incubation workspace: Use one of our exciting, interactive shared workspaces for business start-ups. Positioned in convenient locations, providing access to modern, flexible hot-desking facilities, an on-site business advisor and the opportunity to meet other entrepreneurs.
- Grants: Those receiving support may be eligible for a £500 or £1000 start-up grant.
