Business Incubation Centre launched to support Bedford business owners!
This week saw the official opening of the brand new My Incubator facility at Bedford i-lab, Priory Business Park.
My Incubator supports businesses and social enterprises that are in their pre-start, or new and early stage of starting their business. The brand new facility provides all clients with advice from specialist business advisors on the best possible way to grow and run their new business. This service is free* of charge for up to 3 months for pre-start businesses.
My Incubator - Bedford already supports 14 start-up businesses one of which is James Richardson’s business, James said "My incubator - Bedford is a great place to start out if you are considering going into business, the advisers are on hand to help, the facilities onsite are great and the money that I saved during the initial 3 month period has allowed me to re-invest in starting up the business."
My Incubator provides a range of support from business plan writing to financial/ legal advice and marketing, to name a few. My Incubator – Bedford is the fifth addition to the My Incubator portfolio and is supported by the Bedford i-lab, Bedford Borough Council and Wenta. My Incubator – Bedford joins a network of 5 incubators based in Luton, Potters Bar, Stevenage and Watford with a sixth centre soon to be opened in Ware. Clients signed up to the incubator have an array of contacts on their doorstep, and can use the other centres to hold meetings and to network.
Further to the advice and workspace available, My Incubator gives business owners the opportunity to access training courses, specialist consultancy and skills workshops, such as Business Planning, A Taste of Marketing, Legal and IP, to list a few.
