Starting a Business

Almost all of us at some stage in our lives dream of running our own business, but for many, that dream stops short of a reality, simply because it seems such a daunting prospect. If you’ve decided you’d like to be your own boss you may have found yourself considering the following:

“Excellent advice has put me back on track to re-establish my goals. I have recommended your services to others.”
Nikki Banfield - Scruff 'N' Stuff

  • I’ve got an idea for a business but where do I start?
  • Can I become my own boss?
  • Can I turn my hobby into a business?
  • Can I choose the hours I work?
  • How do I put together a business plan?

If you’ve asked yourself any of these questions, or need help to think things through, then look no further – Wenta can provide all the help and guidance you need to get your business idea off the ground.

The first step is to attend a free workshop which will give you the help and encouragement you need to get your plans underway. Following the course you can then access our one-to-one advisory services where an advisor will tailor the support provided to your requirements.

We have a range of highly skilled business advisors, who will provide an experienced, impartial ear to listen to all of your questions. Using their substantial business acumen, they will provide all the information and knowledge needed to enable you to start your own successful enterprise.

Whilst charges apply for our advisory services they remain highly subsidised and we endeavour to keep the costs as low as possible for our clients. We also work in partnership with Business Link East who provide Advice eVouchers for start-up businesses to access services such as ours. Clients who obtain an eVoucher can access our advisory service free of charge. For more details on the pricing structure please click here.
