Paid Work Placements
As Step coordinators for Herts, Beds and Bucks, it is our job to arrange paid work placements for both students and companies wishing to take part. We are currently recruiting both companies, undergraduates and graduates to participate.
For Undergraduates
The Step programme places undergraduates into small and medium sized companies and community organisations for 8 to 24 week projects over the summer period to undertake specific business or technical projects driven by the needs of the host business.
Undergraduates are given a chance to gain valuable paid work experience from their placements.
For Graduates
The Step graduate placement programme is aimed at graduates of 2008 to 2012. The scheme offers paid placements for 8 to 24 weeks and runs continuously throughout the year.
Wenta are committed to supporting graduate careers through these work placements and graduates gain an opportunity to obtain valuable work experience, with the possibility of acquiring a permanent position.
Graduates that are successful will earn £210 per week on their placements. This is free from tax and national insurance. Current placement opportunities include:
