Learn, Share and Grow
- Women's Networking Seminar

Date: 12th December 2014

Venue: Jordans Mill, Bedfordshire

As part of the Woman and Broadband Programme, Wenta are running a networking seminar for women who live in Central Beds, Bedford and Milton Keynes on 12th December 2014 at Jordans Mill, Langford Road, Broom, Bedfordshire SG18 9JY.

This event will vary slightly from the other Women and Broadband workshops.

The morning will begin with presentations from:

Monica Kanwar-Jones the owner of Social Buzz, a company that specialised in social media set-up, consultation and ongoing management. Monica is passionate about social media and wants to encourage everyone to learn about social media and use it as a means of getting free marketing for their business.

Barbara Ashby the owner of Bridal Crystal Bouquets. Barbara came to Wenta back in February 2014; she started trading in April and joined the Women and Broadband programme in October.

We will then be holding a bite-size training session on blogging and forums. Whilst this won’t make you an expert overnight, it should give you an idea on how blogging can help your business grow.

Following a buffet lunch, which will give you the opportunity to talk to other like-minded women business entrepreneurs, you will have the opportunity to meet some local women’s business groups and some women who have already started up their own businesses that may be able to offer practical help and advice if you are just starting up.

If you are new to this programme, you can find out about the free business support, mentoring and training we can offer on our Women and Broadband Scheme.
