So you have got an idea and you want begin to understand how you can make it happen. It may be an idea for a business, a community, social or environmental enterprise project or maybe how you, as a teacher, can introduce enterprise into your school or curriculum.

Enterprise is not just about being an entrepreneur as the motivation for many people is not wealth or status. It is more about the chance to start a journey: turning an idea into reality and along the way developing as an individual and perhaps helping others in the process.

Enterprising people tend to have a passion and enjoy every part of the journey – it’s not just about finishing, it’s about enjoying yourself, learning new skills and noticing how others respond positively to a can-do attitude!
