New challenges require new skills or the polishing up of forgotten ones. Therefore Wenta, as the largest Enterprise Agency in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire are the appointed co-ordinator to deliver Business Link East training courses across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
Education Links Award
Wenta was awarded the National Enterprise Award for Education Links, at the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies' first ever Enterprise Awards Ceremony. Wenta fought off competition from Enterprise Agencies around the country, in what proved to be one of the most popular categories of awards.
Investing in Communities and Onslow St Audrey School
Wenta have been involved in the “Enterprising Communities” project, funded by Hertfordshire’s Investing in the Communities and supported by EEDA. It was designed to help young people develop enterprise skills and support their own development whilst at the same time benefiting the community and forging links with local business people.
Shell Step Undergraduate Placement Programme
Wenta is the co-ordinator for the Shell Step scheme for Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Shell Step is a programme that matches university students with employers from small and medium sized businesses, to benefit from a dynamic work experience.
