Business Planning Tools
Business planning is an essential step for new businesses, below are some tips to help you get the ball rolling on writing your own business plan.
Both start-up and existing businesses need to prepare a business plan regularly, whether to raise finance, attract investment or to plan for contingencies in the future. However for many people the task of writing the plan can be more than a little daunting.
Preparing your case for the bank
Many business start-ups and existing businesses need the financial support of their banks. If you go badly prepared or even unprepared it will almost certainly weaken your case for financial support. A well prepared and presented proposal will give the bank confidence that you are in full control of your business proposals.
You will almost certainly be expected to produce a full business plan or at least a profit and loss and/ or cash flow forecast.
Just about all the high street banks have produced their own business planning finance packages. Our experience shows that these can sometimes be difficult to follow and so we have produced our own business planning tools that you can download as a step by step guide on how to make a business plan.
Business grants can provide essential funding for business, Wenta will be able to inform you of local grants available and offer you support in applying for these. We are currently involved in supporting clients applying for funding through the following schemes:
- Prince’s Trust - A £500 grant is available in combination with a Prince’s Trust Loan for those who meet the relevant criteria.
