Profile
Background
Before joining Wenta, Peter was a senior manager within Barclays Bank. He has a degree in Financial Services (ACIB) and is a fully accredited Business Advisor (MIBA).
Peter still has his own consultancy which provides mentoring to people in both business and education and he is an accredited mentor with BVM (the Business Volunteer Mentor programme). He has also been a school governor for 15 years and, having been a pupil of Stanborough School in Welwyn Garden City, Peter is now a Governor there.
Peter is also non executive Chairman of Finesse Leisure, an IPS trust set up to run a range of leisure facilities including a swimming pool, golf course and two leisure centres.
Role
Peter joined Wenta in September 2004 as a business advisor and now heads up Wenta’s Education and Training delivery. Wenta’s Education Programme is focused on ‘Inspiring Enterprise’ in everyone; developing enterprise and business skills in people of all ages whether they seek employment or a business of their own. Wenta also provides that valuable link between education, business and social enterprise.
