Matt joined Wenta in March 2009 to help with the increasing marketing workload that had arisen from the companies steady growth and it winning the contract to manage the btc in Stevenage.

Background
Matt started in marketing at an educational charity previously known as 'GAP Activity Projects' which offered voluntary work placements in over 30 countries around the world. From there Matt moved to the opposite end of the commercial spectrum to work as an Account Manager in an incentive and marketing agency called Maritz. Whilst working within this role Matt had heard about a teaching programme in Japan called J.E.T and after an interview at the Japanese Embassy in London was offered a English Language Teaching position in Tochigi Japan. He stayed there for two years and returned to the U.K in July 2007 to fall into a job at EJEF teaching business English to corporate Japanese men and women in a Business School just 10 miles from his house that he never knew existed! Although he very much enjoyed this work he missed marketing and was delighted to be offered the job at Wenta in a capacity that he could use his experience from both of his previous marketing roles.

Interests
Matt loves all sports especially adventure sports and those that are fast and dynamic. He teaches kickboxing, is a committee member of the national martial arts association Integrity Martial Arts, and in his spare time loves being outdoors and spending time with his girlfriend, friends and family.
